| Probeco is owned by Kim Berg, founder and owner of Berg & Co and Grafisk Bind (Graphical Binding). Both Berg & Co and Grafisk Bind specialise in manufacturing filing and presentation plastic products. Originally, the production of self-adhesive products commenced in 1998 and was placed with Berg and Co. Due to rising demands and a wish to excel within all areas of production, distribution and sales, it was decided that the self-adhesive products would be better served as an independently run product line. Subsequently, Probeco was founded in early 2003. Since then, production has flourished and the product selection has been expanded to include, among other things, the magnetic backed pockets. Probeco and Berg & Co are practically neighbours, located within minutes of one another on the outskirts of Løgstør in Northern Jutland. Grafisk Bind is located in the central part of Jutland, in Viby, near Århus. The close proximity between the three companies, and their shared origin, has led to a close and strong working relationship. Thus, in addition to the 17 employees at our premises, we have access to a work force that currently counts 60 people. Moreover, we have the opportunity of outsourcing particular parts of production to either of our sister-companies; an aspect that makes Probeco a significant associate in all matters of business. |
